Ethernet Broadband is delivered as either Ethernet over Copper or Ethernet over Fibre. Speeds are symmetric, and range from 2Mbps/2Mbps through to 100Mbps/100Mbps. Ethernet based Broadband is suited to large corporates and government departments.
Both Ethernet over Copper and Ethernet over Fibre are highly reliable technologies and come with a 99.95% Service Level Agreement. Fibre based Ethernet services are delivered via a single fibre, while copper based Ethernet services are delivered via multiple copper pairs bonded together. Whether it is delivered via copper or via fibre, the service is presented to the customer at a 10/100 Ethernet port, making integration with existing Ethernet based equipment as simple as can be. No expensive fibre or ATM cards are required.
Broadband Solutions delivers Ethernet Broadband in two different ways:
- Ethernet over Copper - delivered via multiple copper pairs bonded together
- Ethernet over Fibre - delivered via a single fibre
